Check for other wireless interference Active interferenceĪctive interference is caused when other electronic devices are broadcasting either a wireless signal or some other form of electromagnetic interference.To identify if the headset is causing the issue, disconnect the power from the base station of the wireless headset, then check to see if this clears up the connection problem you were experiencing. Third-party wireless headsets can cause active interference because they broadcast on the same frequency as wireless routers. This clears out your Xbox's RAM entirely and will help ensure any data that can cause these issues to clear out. You will want to UNPLUG your console from electrical power for at least 5 minutes
